  • Hard to heal wounds
  • Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFU)
  • Venous Leg Ulcers (VLU)
Wounds can be hard to heal for many reasons.  They include nutritional and health status, diabetics, poor circulation, infection, bony abnormality and abnormal weight bearing as well as other factors.

We use advanced techniques to help facilitate wound healing.  Direct wound debridement is provided.  Additional dressings and off-loading devices (i.e. orthotics, boots, and diabetic shoes) are available.  Grafting techniques, biologic dressings and skin substitutes can be provided.

Grafts/allografts incl. growth factors and specialty proteins are utilized for cell recruitment to speed wound healings.  These grafts act as a barrier membrane, reduce scar tissue, reduce inflammation and enhance healing.  These options can be provided in our office environment.  Call for and evaluation to see which treatment is best for you.
